All Gifts Make a Difference!

The Annual Fund plays a vital role in the health and growth of any independent school, including FASPS. Tuition covers only a portion of the cost of educating your child, and the Annual Fund helps make up the difference. As part of the school’s budget, the Annual Fund provides funding that can be allocated directly towards programs and arising needs throughout the year. This year, as we make large investments in health and safety infrastructure to adapt our program during this difficult and transformative time, support in the Annual Fund is more important than ever. Every student benefits from contributions to the Annual Fund. The more money we raise, the more opportunities for our school. Read below for more information about the 2020–2021 Annual Fund.

  • What are the details of the 2020–2021 Annual Fund Campaign?

In 25 years, thanks to the amazing efforts of a dedicated community, we have developed the most comprehensive, harmonized, and successful bilingual program in the area.

The Annual Fund plays an essential role in ensuring we have the resources to provide each student with what he/she needs to reach his or her full potential. At a time when our expenses have increased sharply with investments in additional classroom space, protective equipment, and sanitation services to protect our community for when we are able to offer in-person teaching, revenue from the Annual Fund is critical.

The Annual Fund goal is $300,000, and we strive to reach 100% participation from our FASPS community.

The Annual Fund Giving Week is October 4–10. Please visit www.FASPS.org/GiveNow to make a gift or pledge today.

Thank you for supporting FASPS! We are a great community thanks to the work, passion, resilience, and commitment of so many. Your gift, no matter the size, makes such a difference during this difficult time. Let us count you among those who support our Annual Fund this school year.

    Merci à tous !
  • Why not just charge more for tuition?

Unlike tuition, gifts to the Annual Fund are 100% tax-deductible. In addition, many companies provide matching funds, which can double the amount of their employee’s donations.
  • Why do you need all the families to give?

Supporting the Annual Fund is the best way to ensure the quality of education FASPS provides, as well as keep tuition increases to a minimum. Additionally, when seeking contributions from corporations and foundations, we need to demonstrate 100% participation by our current community.
  • How much should I give?

At FASPS, 8–10% of the budget is not covered by what tuition generates. Donation levels vary from a few dollars to thousands of dollars. We know that families cannot all give at the same level, so gifts of all sizes will matter, and together will get us to our financial goal.
  • What does the Annual Fund actually support?

Donations to the Annual Fund go towards the current fiscal year budget and supports everything from technology, programs and resources, special guest speakers, upgrades to classrooms, supplies, professional development, music and arts, and so much more. This year, the Annual Fund will help support critical covid-19 pandemic response measures. All funds are used during the school year in which the donation is made, meaning your gift has an immediate impact on the education of your child!
  • Any other reason I should give to the FASPS Annual Fund?

Your gifts set a great example of philanthropy for your children!
