THE IMPACT OF GIVING
Invest in the Next Generation of global citizens
Your generosity helps students grow, teachers innovate, and our mission thrive—creating life-changing opportunities for today’s learners and tomorrow’s leaders.
WHY Give?
Your gift is an investment in the bilingual leaders of tomorrow.
At FASPS, we know that our bilingual education prepares students to become empathetic, globally minded leaders of tomorrow. Donations empower innovative academic programs, attract and retain dedicated educators, and provide access through tuition assistance, bridging the gap between tuition and the true cost of our bilingual education.
By supporting FASPS, you’re nurturing a community where curiosity, cultural agility, and leadership thrive. Every gift, at every level, secures this transformative experience for generations to come.
The Gifts we Live By – Two Primary Fundraisers Each Year
The Annual Fund: Supports the school’s annual operating budget. We strive for 100% participation from our entire community, including families, our Board of Trustees, faculty and staff, grandparents, alumni, and friends of FASPS, at a level that is meaningful to you. Every gift makes a difference.
The Gala & Auction: Supports key priorities of the school, such as our scholarship endowment fund, technology needs, special projects, and the operating budget.
As a nonprofit, FASPS accepts tax-deductible donations. Many employers offer corporate matching programs as part of their benefits. This is a great way to support your philanthropic giving and extend your donation reach. Check with your employer's HR department to inquire if they have a matching gift program.
Ways to Support FASPS
Explore the many ways you can help strengthen our school community and invest in its future.
-
Capital Campaigns are specific fundraising campaigns that help the school grow, such as funding the construction of a new building, or updating to a current building. In the summer of 2024, we started our latest Capital Campaign to help fund our permanent home project.

A planned gift in the form of bequests, insurance policies, trusts, or retirement plans, is another way to support FASPS and its mission in the future. If you are considering a planned gift to FASPS, please reach out to Heidi Paige in the Development Office at HeidiP@fasps.org or (206) 275-3533, ext. 278.
The Patricia Blaise-Caves Scholarship Fund is an endowment fund that supports our tuition assistance program, and the Cultural Agility Fund supports beyond-the-classroom experiences.

The spirit of volunteering is deeply ingrained in the French American School of Puget Sound community and from the early years of our history, this commitment has fostered a sense of personal involvement. We ask families to contribute 10 volunteer hours annually, which strengthens the school-family partnership.
Key Development volunteer opportunities include Giving Week, where volunteers support the Annual Fund through gratitude initiatives, and our annual Gala & Auction, the largest fundraiser, where volunteers are recruited to help with both planning and execution. The Family and Community Committee (FCC) rely on volunteers for monthly coffees, events, parent education, bread sales, and more, and offer a variety of ways to contribute that fit everyone's schedules, time commitments, skills, and interests.
