Content (History):
  • 18th Century European powers and their empires : colonization, slave trade, enlightenment.
  • French Revolution related to the European and American context
  • 19th Century in Europe : Industrial Age, Colonial empires and colonial societies, the right to vote, the 3rd Republic in France, Women in the 19th century, the Rise of nations and nationalism (1815-1914)
Content (Geography):
  • Global organization of the world : international trade, seas and oceans in the globalization, cities and globalization, Human movement (migrations, tourism)
  • Inequalities toward globalization : United States in the globalization, Africa and globalization
