Grandparents, Family, and Friends Days

 
We are excited to welcome our guests to Grandparents, Family & Friends Days from December 18th through the 19th.
 
This event is open to all grandparents, parents, family, and friends of our amazing students. All are encouraged to join in the festivities. In order for us to plan for logistics, staff and parking to accommodate our guests, we require EVERYONE ATTENDING (including FASPS Parents) TO RSVP for the In-Person event. 
 
The RSVP form is now closed. If you are still planning to attend, please check in at the front door with one of our staff members.

FASPS Mercer Island Parking Information

Where to Park During Your Visit:
 
  • Both Thursday and Friday, December 18 and 19, will be crowded, so we ask for your patience and cooperation with parking.
  • Preschool Parents and Guests: Parking for morning drop-off is as usual. Please note the gates will be closed at 9:15 AM, making the parking spaces on the back of the school inaccessible. If you are staying for a presentation after drop-off, please move your car from the back of the school. 
  • Carpooling is highly encouraged so that we can ease congestion as much as possible.
  • A parking lot usage plan can be seen below - please refer to this for directions on where to park for your child's event. FASPS staff will assist with directing guests to park either in the school parking lot or at Herzl NerTamid.
  • Please note: the parking lot usage plan is only for the Mercer Island campus, for those attending the event on the Seattle-Capitol Hill campus, 2-hour street parking is available around the building.
  • FASPS guests cannot park in the JCC lot for this event. Thank you!

Be Sure to Visit Our Winter Market During Your Visit:
  • Open December 18th and 19th in the Multipurpose Room (MPR).
  • Featuring assorted bakery items from L'Experience Paris; FASPS merchandise, including torchons (collectible tea towels with a hand print, self-portrait, or drawing by each student from Tiny YPK through Grade 8); and special Winter Market-only items!
  • All proceeds go to the Cultural Agility Fund, which helps enrich student education through out-of-the-classroom experiences, such as special guest visits, performances, presentations, exhibits, field trips, local outings, regional, national and international trips, and student exchanges.
  • Cash, credit cards, and checks accepted.
