Our Middle School program delves deeper into social justice, leadership, and global citizenship. Students engage in service learning, participate in affinity groups, and take part in transformative trips abroad to understand the complexities of global issues. Through these experiences, they gain the knowledge and skills to become effective, thoughtful leaders who can advocate for change and make a positive impact in their communities-both locally and globally. Students not only engage with social issues but also take action to address them, building confidence in their ability to lead with purpose and compassion.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Peer Mediation
Elementary and Middle School students engage in peer mediation programs, where they are trained to help resolve conflicts, and develop strong communication and empathy.
Conferences
Students in Middle School attend and participate in regional leadership and diversity conferences.
Student Council
The Student Council also plays a key role in fostering student leadership and activism, guiding initiatives that promote inclusivity, sustainability, and community involvement. Students collaborate on projects that address issues such as equality, environmental stewardship, and community service, both locally and globally.
International Exchange Trips
One of the most exciting opportunities for our Middle School students is the chance to participate in international exchange trips. FASPS has partnered with organizations in France, the Canary Islands, and Taiwan to provide students with an immersive multicultural experience.
Affinity Groups and Clubs
FASPS is currently developing the following affinity groups for Middle School students: AAPI, Black Student Union, Latinx and Hispanic, LGBTQIA+, MENA, Multiracial, and South Asian.
