Physical education and athletics are a core component of the curriculum. We strive to develop each student’s motor skills and athletic abilities, and to encourage a positive attitude toward health, safety and personal fitness. Goals of the program also include developing team sports and good sportsmanship skills. Students participate in a variety of activities from team games to training programs designed to teach each student how to set realistic fitness goals and learn more about healthy lifestyles. Classes are taught at the Stroum Jewish Community Center (SJCC) adjacent to the school, which offers extensive use of the pool, gymnasium, and all sports and training equipment. Typical activities include swimming, indoor soccer and basketball.

There is a year-round after-school athletics program open to all middle school students. Team sports include cross-country (fall), basketball and volleyball (winter), and track and field (spring) with competitive meets and games taking place throughout the year. Area middle schools participate in the CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) leagues and compete against other independent and parochial schools. FASPS offers basketball and volleyball clinics in the fall and a soccer clinic in the spring.

In conjunction with the CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) the French-American School of Puget Sound offers an Athletic Program that includes Soccer,Cross Country, Basketball, Volleyball, and Track & Field.
