Summer Camp

In partnership with the neighboring Stroum Jewish Community Center (SJCC), FASPS offers a fun-filled three- week summer camp. Campers begin their day at the school and are immersed in French from 8:30am until 12:30 pm. Teachers from FASPS lead engaging activities that include French for beginners, arts and crafts, music, drama, and two sessions of swimming. Of course, the campers celebrate Bastille Day on July 13th!

In the afternoon, campers join the SJCC’s Camp Kef (camp fun) program. There they enjoy activities such as cooking, science and nature, scavenger hunts, tye-dying, and more arts and crafts. The camp also offers a sports program including such favorites as basketball, baseball, soccer and more.

Thursdays the children head off on field trips. FASPS campers join the SJCC midmorning and leave by bus for a day trip to explore areas around the Puget Sound such as the mountains, the beach, the Family Fun Center, berry picking, the Experience Music Project and other exciting places.

Dates for 2010 and registration information will be available here in March. For additional information, contact the school office at 206-275-3533 or email seanb@fasps.org.
