FASPS understands that for many families and children the school day does not end with the last class.

We offer a number of options for Extended Day from 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM (all with an additional fee).

Extended Day (Garderie)

Extended Day (Garderie) is available on all school days. In addition, garderie is available on Parent/Teacher Conference Days, Faculty-In-Service Days, and during Fall Break, February Break and Spring Break, as well as various Information Nights offered throughout the school year; pre-registration is required. There is no garderie available on holidays.

Study Hall

Teachers supervise a Study Hall program from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM for students in grades 1 through 5. Teachers provide assistance with homework and/or other projects (either in French or in English). First through fifth graders registered for garderie automatically attend Study Hall. After Study Hall, students remaining on the campus are escorted to the garderie monitors until pick-up.

Enrichment Classes

The Extended Day program offers a variety of enrichment classes. These programs are designed to enhance and educate students at FASPS through a constructive, yet enjoyable environment.  Registration for these programs is on a first-come, first-served basis. Details are available at the beginning of each semester. Some of the classes that are either currently offered or have been offered in the past include Chinese, Chess Club, Cooking, Drama/Theatre, French for Fun, Swimming, Pottery, Science, and Yoga.
