FASPS understands that for many families and children the school day does not end with the last class.

We offer a number of options for Extended Day from 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM (all with an additional fee).

After School Care (Garderie)

After School Care (Garderie) is available on all school days. In addition, garderie is available on Parent/Teacher Conference Days, Faculty-In-Service Days, and during Fall Break, February Break and Spring Break. There is no garderie available on holidays.

Study Hall

Teachers supervise a Study Hall program from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM for students in grades 1 through 5. Teachers provide assistance with homework and/or other projects (either in French or in English). First through fifth graders registered for garderie automatically attend Study Hall. After Study Hall, students remaining on the campus are escorted to the garderie monitors until pick-up.

After School Classes

As part of the Extended Day program, a variety of classes are offered. These are designed for the enrichment of the student's experience at FASPS; sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis. Details about the program are available at the beginning of each semester.

Some of our most popular classes include Yoga, Chess, Science, Pottery. Chinese is a recent addition.  Children love the opportunity to engage in these activities with their classmates outside of the regular school day.
