After School Program

FASPS understands that for many families and children the school day does not end with the last class. We offer a number of options for after school care from 3:20 PM to 6:00 PM (all with an additional fee).

Extended Day (Garderie)
Extended Day (Garderie) is available on all school days (full and half days). In addition, extended care is available on Parent/Teacher Conference Day, Faculty-In-Service Days, and during the weeks of Fall Break, February Break and Spring Break; there is no extended care available on holidays. For the exact dates of operation, please refer to the school calendar. On the non-school and vacation days, prior sign-up is required.

Study Hall
Teachers supervise a Study Hall program from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM for students of the 1st through 5th grades. Teachers provide assistance with homework and/or other projects (either in French or in English). First through fifth graders registered for Extended Day (Garderie) automatically attend Study Hall. After Study Hall, students remaining on the campus are escorted to the Extended Day monitors until pick-up.

Enrichment Classes
As part of the Extended Day program, a variety of are offered. These are designed for the enrichment of the student's experience at FASPS; sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis. Details about the program are available at the beginning of each trimester.

Some of the classes that have been offered in the past include Art Culture, Chess Club, Drama and Mad Science. Children love the opportunity to engage in these activities with their classmates outside of the regular school day.
