Stacey Jones
Stacey Jones is an American parent with a daughter in 5
th
grade and a son who graduated from the middle school at FASPS in 2011. She teaches in the Department of Economics at Seattle University and holds a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University. Her research is on the history of the US economy, with an emphasis on education and employment issues. Her work on long-term trends in teacher quality was published by Stanford University Press in 2011. She joined the Board in 2008, served on the Board’s Head Search Committee in 2009-10, and has chaired both the Middle School Task Force and the Committee on Trustees.
