Bonnie Steele

Bonnie Steele is a Seattle native with a wide range of experience in business and non-profit management. Holding degrees in both Computer Science and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she began her career managing a database engineering team focused on small business systems. From there, she jumped into the restaurant business, first owning and operating her own café in Boston and later serving as controller for Jardinière restaurant of San Francisco. Over the past decade, Bonnie has served on a wide variety of non-profit boards in the greater Seattle area, currently serving on the board of Simple Measures (a chamber music series) and the Suzuki Education and Research Association (promoting early music education).

Bonnie and her husband have two boys at FASPS, the oldest, Jeremy, having entered FASPS in 2000 as a YPK student and currently a member of this year's first 7th grade class. Bonnie has volunteered in many capacities at FASPS: as the PPC Treasurer, Board Treasurer, Vice Chair & Secretary, and currently as Board Chair. This is her sixth year serving on the FASPS board.
