Béatrice was born in Brussels, Belgium, in a bilingual family, speaking both French and Dutch. She obtained her teaching degree at Saint Thomas School in Brussels. Béatrice has taught for 24 years in Seattle and Brussels. She is in her 14th year with FASPS. Both her children have graduated from FASPS. Lorenzo is currently in his senior year at UW and Laura is in Grade 11 attending the International Baccalaureat Program at Interlake. Next to her passion for teaching, Béatrice has always enjoyed directing a play or a musical with her students. In addition to teaching Grade 4, Béatrice has been the Art Coordinator for the School since 2010.
