An educator with over 25 years of experience in French-American schools, Andrée McGiffin joined FASPS as Head of School in 2002. Ms. McGiffin began her career in education as a teacher in Berkeley, California in 1975. She became Assistant Head of School after teaching for five years at the East Bay French-American School in Berkeley, and has since provided consulting and leadership for several more schools throughout the county. Ms. McGiffin served as Head of School at the East Bay French-American School and the International School of the Peninsula in California, as well as the French American International School of Boston before coming to FASPS.
Ms. McGiffin has a B.A. in Law and Economics from the University of Paris, a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and elementary teaching credentials from Paris, France.
