At FASPS we make every effort to provide families and children with a positive experience throughout the admission process.

Our goal is to provide the information needed to make an informed decision and ensuring that FASPS is a good fit for students and their families.

Applications for admissions are accepted at any time.

The application consists of the completed Application Form, an $80 non-refundable fee and a completed Teacher Recommendation Form (for grades YPK, PK, and K).

The deadline for applying is February 11, 2010.   Decision letters will be mailed Thursday, March 18, 2010.

Parents

Attend an Information Night
The admissions process begins with parents attending an Information Night. Parents will hear a comprehensive presentation about our school and our outstanding bilingual program set in an international environment. They will also have the opportunity to speak with teachers and hear about a typical day for young children.

Visit the school
After attending an Information Night, parents have the opportunity of taking a tour of the school. The tour provides the opportunity to view classes, see the facilities and learn more about a student's daily experience at FASPS.  Tours are conducted on Friday mornings from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Parent Interview

Once parents apply and attend an Information Night, the Director of Admissions will schedule an interview.

Students

Children entering YPK through Kindergarten attend a Discovery Morning on a Saturday during the month of February. In a friendly and warm setting, teachers interact with children in small groups. Children participate in several developmental activities designed to assess school readiness. The Discovery Morning sessions run between 45 minutes (YPK) to an hour (PK and K).
